Home ⇒ Viagra guide ⇒ Caution to use Viagra sildenafil
You need to use Viagra sildenafil, a prescription medication, with a fair degree of caution. This medication cannot be used by everybody and your doctor will only prescribe it for you if they think you are the ideal candidate for Viagra.
Typically, doctors will recommend a 50mg dosage of Viagra, but the dosage might change with age. If your doctor thinks your age is not appropriate for such a medication, he/she might prescribe a lower dosage of Viagra. Otherwise, if your doctor thinks Viagra is unsafe for you as a result of your advancing age, some other medication or therapy might be prescribed for your erectile dysfunction problem.
If you suffer from decreased kidney or liver function, or any cardiovascular disease, your doctor will take extra care while prescribing this medication for your condition. In some cases, there is a chance that you might not be prescribed this medication at all. Other medical conditions where extra caution is advised are aortic stenosis (narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart), peptic ulcers, bone cancer, leukemia or Peyronie's disease.
If you are not yet 18 don't use this drug, it's only meant for men who are 18 and above. If you have had a recent heart attack or a stroke, you shouldn't be using this medication without consulting your doctor. It's also not a good idea for people who are suffering from low blood pressure as the action of sildenafil decreases blood pressure. Also avoid using this medication if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
